Word of Encouragement

Psalms 24:1 “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.”

Have you taken the time to slow down and examine the beauty of nature all around you? The flowers, trees, plants, birds, squirrels, fish, tadpoles, spiders. Everything! Everything belongs to the Lord. When you slow down enough to have a little talk with Jesus concerning the beauty of things around you, life seems to somehow come together. It is evident to see who perfectly planned God has things in nature. This might sound gross but consider the dead animals along side the road, God has buzzards in place to take care of their carcass. God has a plan in place to take care of the unsightly. How much more will He care for the unsightly things in your life. Remember everything belongs to the Lord.

Romans 8:28-29 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.”

I encourage you to look at your life in detail during times of quietness before the Lord. Make time to be still before God. Allow Him to reveal His wonderful works, His craftiness, and all His perfect details to take care of things.

Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God; ...”

Notice there is a comma after Be still. You must be still before you can know that He is God. The Amplified Bible says; “Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God.” Let be and be still, those 5 words speak volumes. Too many times we get wrapped up in the circumstances of life.  Remember that your life belongs to the Lord. Everything concerning your life belongs Him! Your gifts, your talents, your shortcomings, your hurts, your challenges, your disappointments, everything in the earth belongs to the Lord. Trust Him, somehow only He can work everything together for good.

Psalms 27:4 “One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.”

Seek Him, let be and be still, recognize and understand that He is God, nothing takes Him by surprise. Nothing catches Him off guard. He has a plan to somehow bring everything to come together from the time you were born until the day you depart this life and enter into His eternal presence. Until then...... “Let be and be still”.

The Lord has a specific assignment for you each and every day of your life.
It is your responsibility to seek after Him to discover His plan and to trust in Him completely to walk it out.

Ps 52:8,9 “I trust in and confidently rely on the loving kindness and mercy of God forever and ever. I will thank You and confide in You forever, because You have done it, (delivered me and kept me safe). I will wait on, hope in and expect in You name, for it is good.” (Amplified Bible)

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to you this day with great expectations. For you are my Lord, and there is no other Lord for me. Your Spirit is upon me this day, active, alive, and ready to do the work you have called me to do. I am expecting to see Your Love manifested in my life to me and through me into the lives of those in my area of influence. I choose joy for today. Joy knowing that You are my Lord. You are my strength. No weapon formed against me this day can prosper, because I dwell in Your secret place, I abide under Your shadow almighty God, whose power no foe can with stand. Nothing that I am to face this day is beyond Your knowledge. For you know it all Lord, and you have a plan. You have a Plan for victory. I trust in you my God. I thank You Most high Father for Your continued presence in my life this day. I am expecting good things because: This is the day that My Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Galatians 5:1 For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage. (American Standard Bible)

Enjoy your freedom in Christ, and have a Happy and Safe 4th of July.

Be encouraged by His Grace,

Rose
